At the end of Baja California, nestled between the Pacific Ocean on the West and about 200 miles across from mainland Mexico over the Sea of Cortez on the East, lies a tropical desert paradise we affectionately refer to as Caboland. Boasting the best fishing on the planet, and once a quiet haven for anglers, the Cabo San Lucas area now features world class resorts and golf courses by world famous designers and developers. CABOland has rapidly become the Palm Springs (with great beaches) of the 90s and 21st century. Diving in the Sea of Cortez is spectacular. In Cabo San Lucas the American residents are barely outnumbered by the Mexican locals who are friendly and cordial and really do appreciate the American business.
A mere 2
hour flight from LAX, Los Cabos Intl. Airport is a modern facility close
to wherever you'd like to be in Southern
Baja California to enjoy its
rich offerings.
The Transpeninsular
Highway's 29-km, is a four-lane highway spanning 18 miles from Cabo
San Lucas to San José del Cabo.
It is a spectacular drive which
provides access to many views, beaches and gorgeous coves nestled between
rocky cliffs along the famous Sea of Cortez. Along this strip are also
many fine hotels, golf courses and private villas. This
area is more commonly referred to as "The Corridor."
