Cabo San Lucas Country Club

Designed by Pete Dye, this impressive course and country club features a clubhouse with pro shop, restaurant and tennis courts. This challenging championship golf course features Dye’s characteristic waste bunkers and nine sparkling lakes. Playing areas were built into the natural terrain fairways and greens flow into a desertscape of magnificent palo blancos, torote trees and cardon cacti. The seventh tee box is the longest golf hole in Mexico - #7 610 yards par 5 double dog leg around a lake.

The beautiful Cabo San Lucas Country Club is open to the public and is the only course in Los Cabos located close enough to town for a reasonable taxi ride. With elevation changes of 300 feet and subtle terracing up the hillside, this sensational championship course also offers the area’s only fairway views of Land’s End, San Lucas Bay and the Sea of Cortez.

Cabo Real

With two spectacular seaside holes, and three magnificent mountain holes as its signature, Cabo Real Golf Resort promises to be the centerpiece of Los Cabos resort golf. It is situated midway along the coastal corridor, halfway between San Jose and Cabo San Lucas at the Melia Cabo Real Hotel. Designed and built by the Robert Trent Jones team - who enjoy international acclaim for their championship resort layouts around the world - the Cabo Real Golf Resort features an 18 hole course to provide a varietal challenge for golf enthusiasts.

The first 18 holes of the championship Cabo Real Golf Course are laid out over more than 7,000 yards. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., with its numerous sand traps and arroyos, the course provides a real challenge for low handicap golfers but is still great fun for beginners. Cabo Real Golf Course is a spectacular example of the art of designing and building a truly challenging golf course.

When he first saw Cabo Real, Robert Trent Jones, Jr. set his goal to create ‘a high quality course that appears to have been designed by its setting, where every hole features vistas of the sea.’ The 7000 yard course works its way up into the mountains from the first tee to the sixth green. From the sixth hole, it winds its way down the mountain, sneaks past the lake on the ninth fairway to the ninth green. Here you can stop for a well deserved snack at the clubhouse.

After a refreshing break, head on down to the Sea of Cortez for a more relaxing back nine. That's the first 18. Construction on the second 18 within the Cabo Real development, El Dorado, has just been completed.

Cabo del Sol

Designed by Jack Nicklaus, Cabo del Sol offers spectacular desert landscaping and sweeping ocean views, stretching along one mile of breathtaking pristine coastline and dramatic desert.

Situated on 1,800 acres and two miles of ocean front, the 18 hole Jack Nicklaus signature ocean course offers strategically placed bunkers on narrow terrain that works its way up to the 6th tee, 460 feet above sea level. The 15th, 158 yards, par 3, plays parallel to the Sea of Cortez and will ‘test’ players of every level.

A new second course, the Cabo del Sol Desert Course, was designed by Tom Weiskopf. This new course spreads across 140 acres of gently rolling desert terrain with a minimum of four, and sometimes five, sets of tees on each hole. The design of this "target-style course" also incorporates large landing areas and few forced carries to ensure an enjoyable golf experience for players of all levels, yet be challenging enough in tournament conditions.

In its first year of operation Cabo del Sol debuted on Golf magazine’s list of ‘Top 100 Courses in the World’ ranking 70th. Jack Nicklaus refers to holes 16, 17 and 18 as ‘the finest three finishing holes in all of golf’. He calls Cabo del Sol ‘the most spectacular golf course property on earth’.

Palmilla Golf Club

The first Jack Nicklaus signature course in Mexico is at home on the lush 900 acres of the oceanfront Palmilla. Nature has provided the unique setting for this breathtaking championship course with desert, ocean, and mountain views. The jewel of this project is the world renowned Hotel Palmilla. A small, boutique oceanfront resort that blends luxurious comfort and personal service with old world charm.

Palmilla offers golfers spectacular views of the Sea o Cortèz from nearly every hole as it winds through centuries old cardon cacti and rugged desert mountain terrain, making each hole a memorable experience for golfers of every skill level. The course is divided into the 3,337-yard Arroyo Nine, the 3,602-yard Mountain Nine and the 3,548-yard Ocean Nine. The five sets of staggered tee boxes ensure golfers, from beginners to professionals, an exciting game.

The Ocean Nine layout, featuring a 600' elevation change from holes one to six, takes advantage of the natural desert and mountain terrain, and features challenging directional changes. Several of the holes are within a pitching wedge of the ocean and boast panoramic views of the Sea of Cortéz.
